This 2,351 - acres hunting land is situated in Bureau county. The only animal that can be hunt at this land is waterfowl. The hunters who are of age 16 or less than that do not require hunting permit but there must be some adult with them who continuously monitor them and must possess a hunting permit. This hunting site is closed most of the times because of bad weather conditions. There are two lakes on this area which are Lake DePue and Spring Lake. Both lakes have blind sites for hunters. Moreover, hunters are not allowed to camp at this site. Lastly, this land is easily accessible by Illinois Route 29 in DePue town.
