This refuge is consisting of 65,443 – acres and the surface of this property is mostly covered with forests, wetland, grassland, and brushy upland. The management of this land manages its quality with the help of prescribed burning of extra brushes and crop cultivation. This land provides a great opportunity for hunters to hunt Ducks, Coots, and Turkey. Activities that can be performed on this land are hunting, hiking, fishing, and wildlife viewing. People with disabilities are also allowed to hunt on this land in their specified area. Moreover, hunters can camp on this land and a designated car parking area is also available.
