Merrimack, 214 Acres of Public Hunting Land for Whitetail Deer, Exotics – Merrimack, New Hampshire

The area is best known for its trails and access to the Merrimack river. It covers 214 acres of land. This wma gives amazing hunting opportunities for small game and large game animals. Some of the species available for hunting are sandpipers, otters, raccoons, and wild turkeys. Great blue herons and ospreys can also be found at Sewall’s falls multi-use recreation area. There is an upgraded boat ramp facility available at the Beaver Meadow Brook and Merrimack River. The river is a home to numerous atlantic salmon and freshwater mussels.
