This land is consisting of 7,045 – acres and the surface of this property is mostly covered with multicolored soil, ridges, peaks, and draws, which contribute to the overall ruggedness of this land. Activities that can be done on this site are hunting, camping, sightseeing, hiking, backpacking, and horse riding. Motorized and mechanized vehicles are not allowed inside the land. Animals that can be hunt on Vale of Tears WSA are Fox, Coyote, Mountain lion, Black bear, Mule deer, Elk, Raptors, and Gopher snakes. Lastly, this land can be accessed by traveling approximately 25 miles west Maybell and then by moving for 55 miles west of Craig.
