6000 Acre Hunting Lease in West Texas

6000 acre ranch located in Western Val Verde County. The Eastern terrain consist of typical flats covered in native grasses and brush. The further West you travel the terrain turns to deep canyons and high outlooks, ending at the Pecos River, ranch’s Western border. The hunting of game follows the State of Texas regular season for Val Verde County Sept. 27, 2026 – February 01, 2027. The exception to the hunting season, the ranch does NOT allow archery hunting of any type, for any animal/game on the ranch. The ranch allows whitetail and hog hunting. The Pecos river is accessible for relaxing, fishing, and kayaking. There are two gates to access the ranch at the Eastern border, these are directly off a well maintained caliche county road. The ranch should be considered primitive. There is no electric power, generators are recommended. Two wells provide water. One is at the only area where lodging on the ranch is allowed, no camping outside of this area. This well requires a generator to run the well. The other well is in the Western area. This provides water for the game via a solar driven water pump. The ranch has an old house on it, and a variety of out-buildings from years past for use. The ranch has had very limited hunting for the past 2. 5 years.
