Hamilton County - MLD 3

Looking for one hunter to make a total of 8 hunters on 1200 acres. Cost is $2000 per gun plus $125 utilities.  This is two pastures out of a several thousand acre ranch under mld 3.  I’m not the property manager – i’m just a fellow hunter responsible for putting the group together.  This will be our 5th year of solid management and we are seeing the results. We’re looking for a management minded hunter that can respect the rules and the last 4 years of work we’ve put in and be part of continuing that success.

Hunting agreement runs feb 15, 2016 to jan 15, 2017 and includes deer, turkey, hogs and dove.  We lost someone late and are replacing them; so you will have missed out on this year’s spring turkey season.  Full access during spring turkey and fall hunting seasons; otherwise limited access to maintain feeders and equipment but you can shoot hogs when out there for that purpose.

Last year trophy bucks were considered 5.5+. That is up to the mld program and i don’t expect that to change.  Maximum one trophy, one cull and one doe per hunter but we don’t come close to tagging a total of 24 deer per season.
Cost is $2,125 per hunter and includes access to camphouse with utilities.  Camphouse is pretty rough but does have power and water.
Guests include spouse and your kids 18 and under and they may hunt from your allotment.
No varmint calling/trapping. Hog and coon trapping is ok.
No pets, no exceptions.
Hunting with rifle and bow starts with normal bow season but does and cull bucks only until november (even if bow hunting).
Each hunter must provide a free choice protein feeder march through august (we’ve been running that a lot longer).  Each hunter must feed corn year round.
During deer season no hunting in other people’s blinds or areas around their blinds without permission.
