Twiggs County Georgia 1,095 Acres

We have two openings in Outback Hunting Club in Twiggs County Georgia. Dues are $1,450. We currently have 14 members with a cap of 16. We have 1,100 acres of a combination of some clear cut, some young planted   pine, some mature planted pine, and swamp land adjacent to a creek mixed with hard wood, cane breaks, and palmetto forest. If you do like our club and you are a good fit for our club you will have an opportunity to harvest deer, hog, turkey and bear. Given the diverse echo system, this land also encompasses a diverse mix of small game as well. This is a trophy deer hunt club. Our standard is as follows: bucks, must be 8 points or better. Does, the limit is 2. Our club entrance is located near Hwy 23 (aka, Cochran Short Route) and Hwy 96. Members are allowed one personal stand and we have several dozen club/community stands (box and ladder type). 1. Stands in the cutover must be no closer than 300 yards apart. Stands and the woods/swamp shall be no closer than 200 yards apart. 2. Every member is allowed one personal spot with one personal stand which no one else can hunt without permission. Two single ladder stands in close proximity may be substituted for buddy stands to accommodate guests and minors. 3. You shall designate throughout the year, your one personal hunting area with a green magnet provided on the map board. If you choose to move your personal spot at any time during the year this must be approved prior to buy either the club president or vice-president. You shall indicate the stand/area which you are hunting regardless if your own stand or a community stand with a yellow magnet on the map board when you go in, and then take it off when you come out. These magnets are numbered to correspond with your number on the roster. 4. You shall make your way into hunt at least three hours before dark so as you don’t disturb other hunters. We have community stands out front that can be used if you are running late. 5. Members are allowed to kill 2 does. Any bucks harvested must be 8 points or better. No does shall be harvested off of club food plots, or any community club stands, you may harvest does in your personal areas only. 6. Guests over the age of 18 are permitted to hunt deer after December 1st through to the end of the deer season. However, only 4 guest days per member at a fee of $100 per day. If your guest or your minor child kills a deer, it counts against your season quota. 7. No scouting after big game season begins (September 9th) except for in your own personal area. 8. Workdays shall consist of a minimum 2-man teams. You shall have the option to choose off the list which items you wish to accomplish. If you have not contributed to any workdays since the first of the year… within two weeks of opening-day of big game season, you will be assessed a $500 fine and will be limited to your personal stand only and no community club stands until the fine is paid.
