Muskingum, 3,612 Acres of Public Hunting Land for Whitetail Deer, Duck, Exotics – Muskingum, Ohio

This 3,612 – acres hunting land is half covered with woodlands which include species like: sycamore and cottonwood. The animals that are available for hunting on Dillon WMA are fox squirrels, ruffed grouse, white-tailed deer, cottontail rabbit, waterfowl and raccoon. Almost 90 percent area of this land is cultivated with corn, small grains, and meadows. The remaining area is well-distributed in fields of grasses and associated brush field borders. Boating is allowed on 1,560-acre Dillon Lake. There are two boat ramps at this land which provide access to the lake. Lastly, camping is not allowed at this land.
