Brown, 1,799 Acres of Public Hunting Land for Whitetail Deer, Quail, Duck, Exotics – Brown, Ohio

This 1,799-acre wildlife area is only one mile east of Fayetteville in northern Brown County. The surface of this hunting property is very flat, except for the narrow side of Indian Creek and Little Indian Creek, which flow westerly by this area. Almost the 60 percent of Indian Creek WMA is just an open land, which consists of crop fields mixed with fields of brooms edge and scattered sassafras. The remaining area of this land is divided equally between woods and brushes. The animals that could be hunt at this land include: bobwhite quail, deer, cottontail rabbit, fox squirrels, raccoon, muskrat, skunk, opossum, and waterfowl. The other facilities which are available at this land include a horse barn, a 95-acre dog training area, a shotgun range, and an archery course.
