Wayne, 7,531 Acres of Public Hunting Land for Whitetail Deer, Turkey, Dove, Duck, Predator, Exotics – Wayne, West Virginia

This 7,531-acre land is mostly covered with oak, pine, and hickory. It contains steep paths, wooded ridges to bottom land along the margins of beech fork and tributaries. The animals which are available for hunting include: deer, fox, grouse, squirrel, rabbit, raccoon, turkey, woodcock, mourning dove, and various waterfowl. There are two lakes in this area and are equipped with boat ramps. The pond here is restricted to children under 10 and Class-Q permit holders. A 100-yard shooting range has been established in the management area. Camping facility is also available at this land.
